Find a key that fits your voice

  1. Separate the song and sing along with the instrumental in its original key.
  2. If the high notes strain, choose -1 or -2. If the low notes disappear, choose +1 or +2. Most songs only need a step or two.
  3. Download the karaoke track in that key. Changing the key does not use another separation.
Hear a backing track two semitones lower

Larger shifts can sound less natural, and results depend on the recording. Use audio you have permission to process.

No karaoke version of your song? Make one

Upload the song from your device, as an audio or video file. There is no YouTube or link import, so you need the file itself and the right to use it.

Play the original, then the instrumental, and listen for anything left of the voice. Pick a key up to ±6 semitones and the instrumental plays in it, then download an MP3 with no account, or a WAV on a paid plan.

Backing harmonies and reverb on the voice can stay faintly in the track. There are no lyrics on screen, so keep the words open somewhere else.
